ABSTRACT

Cyber Physical Systems (CPSs) becomes useful in the formation of contemporary engineering projects. CPSs represents a fundamental change in the way engineering systems are built. Throughout the construction industry, virtual models are becoming extremely popular. As a means of teamwork, interaction, and engagement in building projects, virtual models have enormous potential. Considering their advantages, virtual models are frequently used just for development and tender document purposes. Machine learning resources are necessary to closely interconnect the virtual models and the necessary software so that modifications in one domain are instantly communicated with the other to preserve bi-directional coordination. This process is also known as a CPSs. The challenges of a CPSs integrated approach in the building industry have been discussed in this chapter, along with existing construction processes that can be improved and applied with the recommended approaches to essential services for the construction sector.
