ABSTRACT

This paper reviews various approaches and algorithm for medical imaging and diagnosis with the help of modern technologies such as machine learning and deep learning. There are various models presented in this paper each different in its own way and can help the reader to get a brief idea about the various algorithms that are used or have previously been used for medical imaging and diagnosis. Along with the mentioned knowledge, these authors also suggest and put forth the broad scope offered by these technologies for further advancement for greater human well being. This paper begins with understanding and elaborating the technologies of machine learning and deep learning. Further their scope in the healthcare sector particularly for diagnosis and imaging if focused upon. There’s a combination of different topics such as medical imaging, diagnosis, deep learning and machine learning. Over the past decade an exponential difference has been observed in machine learning. There are various algorithms as well as machine learning models which are used and explained in the following paper such as but not limited to CNN and MTANN. This paper encapsulates the latest research undertaken in the field and helps lay a foundation for the researchers willing to further work in this sphere.
