ABSTRACT
Electricity is a basic need of human civilization. To a large extent, our energy needs are fulfilled by non-renewable sources of energy which are depleting quickly. They also cause a lot of other problems such as global warming, ozone depletion and extreme weather. In our current model, the human weight is used to apply pressure (strain) to the piezo crystal to produce electricity. With this piezo-electric device or other techniques used to converting mechanical energy into electrical energy, we can create an alternative that uses human power for its sustenance. Over years research has been done extensively in the fields of renewable form of energy (Nechibvute et al. 2013).
