ABSTRACT
Industry 4.0 (I4S), with its primary empowering Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), completely changes both services and business worlds in the health domain. The Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), Cloud Computing (CC), Fog Computing (FC), besides Big Data (BD) technologies promote eHealth renovation and further methodical spreading out of its whole ecosystem. Such a strategy aids in moving it towards Health 4.0 (H4.0). All stakeholders perceive the impact of adopting and assimilating I4S technologies into healthcare. This chapter (i) describes the chief technologies and paradigms concerning H4.0; (ii) discusses application scenarios; (iii) analyzes benefits; (iv) describes novel cross-disciplinary obstacles; and (v) finally compiles lessons learned.
