ABSTRACT

The Ethereum platform now supports blockchain-based healthcare apps and transactions [1–9]. Blockchain Technology (BT) is a potential topic for numerous applications, including public services, reputation systems, the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), as well as security services (Figure 1). Blockchain applications use Smart Contracts (SCs) to permit anonymous and distributed storage of any valuable record or transaction viz. cash, energy, real estate contracts, oil, gold, in addition to intellectual property rights (IPR). Without intermediaries like agents or brokers, security, data integrity, privacy decentralization, and fast transactions are all possible. Currently, blockchain 3.0 (aka third generation or digital society) handles health, education/literacy, science, art, and governance applications [1], incorporating advancements, such as cyber-physical systems [2, 3].
