ABSTRACT

Over the past few years, the Internet of Things (IoT) has become an increasingly popular subject of discussion. The IoT is based on the idea of connecting every computer to the Internet. This includes everything from smartphones to kitchen appliances and almost anything else we can think of. According to the report published, the estimated 50 billion connected devices will exist by 2030. Figure 6.1 shows a progress of personal devices such as smartphones, tablets, personal computers, smart watches, connected TVs, and so on. However, because of the world’s population, this growth is limited. All of these connected devices in areas like home appliances, medical clinics, and transportation are driving the real development. Essentially, there will be limitless gadgets. All of these gadgets should use less energy and have a longer battery life, but they should not lose efficiency.
