ABSTRACT
Sensors, controllers, and software’s online connectivity are used to monitor and control the various services equipment in the buildings and their performance and characteristics. Data are collected from the equipment on a timely basis in order to optimize the building environment and operations. Smarter technology gives us a greater comfort and reduces the consumptions based on the advance command and control mechanism. Fire safety systems can be used for detection of smoke during the fire and escape the people very safely by switching on the accessible doors using the cameras. Public Addressing systems which are integrated with the system help to communicate to them during the critical time. The electrical distribution system can be designed to segregate the system like critical and noncritical loads, which helps us to optimize the loads based on the category and usage. Smart buildings are designed in such a way that the energy gets utilized efficiently irrespective of the internal and external conditions.
