ABSTRACT

In the present study, efforts have been made to explore students’ and teachers’ perspectives towards cloud-based digitalization of higher education. Students’ main issues and challenges in the digital education system, especially in cloud computing, have been identified as well as what strategies can be adopted to deal with students’ and teachers’ issues and challenges in such a system. For the purpose of the study, both primary and secondary data were used. The pre-structured questionnaire was framed for the primary data to collect students’ and teachers’ views. The sample included 220 students and 100 teachers of different colleges and universities situated in Haryana and the Punjab state. The analyzed data demonstrated that cloud computing plays a key role in the life of a student. Students should focus on the positive aspects of cloud computing by avoiding its potentially harmful sites. Students have to face various kinds of technological educational issues, but overcoming such hurdles can lead to positive results.
