ABSTRACT

Organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) are used in most flexible electronic devices due to their manifold flexibility, and they are less complex and lightweight. Due to these properties, it is attached with or bends easily to construct bendable devices and different types of sensors and actuators. This chapter presents a review on OFETs used in different flexible electronic devices as well as sensors in the last decade. Various types of sensors such as strain, pressure, temperature, and biological can be designed with OFET for low power and high sensitivity. These sensors are fabricated using OFET, and the design of such sensors for flexible electronics is a challenge that can be mitigated with the current advanced technologies.
