ABSTRACT

This study aims to identify the problems faced by mathematics teachers in online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study is descriptive with a survey method. The participants of this study were 185 mathematics teachers faced with online learning during the pandemic. The results were analyzed based on the problems found in the city and village. The problems found were 1) technical problems, 2) teaching preparation and methods, 3) assessment methods, and 4) student control. The problems were caused by 1) the limitation of infrastructure and environmental conditions, and 2) the lack of experience and insight of the teachers related to online learning. Thus, it can be seen that in the implementation of online learning, teachers have to face many problems. However, it is possible to overcome this so that learning can take place.
