ABSTRACT

A review of self-regulated learning (SRL) as a determinant of learning success and academic procrastination (AP) as a psychological barrier which is predicted to occur when autonomous learning needs to be done. The correlational survey research was conducted on 67 parents of primary school students which aimed to explore their perspectives on these attitudes that determine the success of distance learning. This study focused on the investigation of SRL & AP that appears in primary school mathematics learning. The study obtained the correlation between SRL and AP students with a statistical power of -0.634 with a significance level of α 0.05. This relationship indicates a significant negative influence between SRL and AP during distance learning. Empowerment of SRL during this pandemic can be used as the main capital in post pandemic learning and psychological learning barriers (AP) need to be minimized, so that learning objectives can be achieved efficiently.
