ABSTRACT

In facing the 5.0 society era through learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, there is a need for improving and strengthening the learning process between teachers and students by giving feedback. The research objectives describe the teacher’s feedback for long-distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The research design was the study case of SD Muhammadiyah 16 Surakarta in the 2019/2020 academic year. The subject included the teachers and high-class students. The data collection employed used the techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were validated by the data triangulation. The data analysis was qualitative. The results showed that the teachers’ online learning feedback was positive and negative. The positive feedback consisted of giving praise, passion, and reward or prize; the negative one was verbally warning for building and motivating the students learning. Positive and negative feedback in online learning can be given through applications such as Zoom, Google Forms, and WhatsApp.
