ABSTRACT

A gamification platform is present as a major complement to the online learning system. Online learning is delivered by various methods that are adapted to the user's environment, especially in the teaching innovations necessary to optimize the COVID-19-influenced learning process. The use of various gamification platforms affects student learning outcomes. This paper explains the difference in the impact of gamification platforms based on the learning styles possessed by students. The subjects of this study consisted of 20 elementary school students, grade six, who were carrying out online learning as an implementation of the COVID-19 pandemic prevention policy. This research was an experimental research with a split-plot design. The results of this study indicate that differences in the use of gamification platforms do not have a significant effect on student learning outcomes with various learning styles, because all gamification platforms are able to accommodate all types of learning styles. This study provides information on the use of the appropriate gamification platform for use in online learning, further analysis is needed to find out the further impact of using the platform.
