ABSTRACT
One of the unique characteristics of the Indonesian people is cooperation. However, the rapid flow of globalization causes the values of local wisdom to erode, leading to the decline of the cooperative character. This study aims to analyze strategies for strengthening the character of cooperation from an early age through the revitalization of local wisdom values. This research's approach is descriptive-qualitative, collecting data through direct observation, interviews, and documentation. The data is then analyzed with data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of the study have shown (1) the values of local wisdom have a vital role in strengthening the character of cooperation; (2) the values of local wisdom need to be re-packaged to facilitate the value transmission to the students; and (3) the reinforcement of cooperation character through the revitalization of the values of local wisdom can be done through learning activities.
