ABSTRACT

The purpose of this research is to describe the management strategy of the principal of elementary school of Jogja Green School in facing the Covid-19 Pandemic. This was a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The research data was collected through interviews, observation and document analysis. The results show: 1) environmental scanning: the principal filters the internal and external environment in the Jogja Green School; 2) formulating: in accordance with the vision and mission of the school as an inclusive school the principal formulates long-term plans for opportunities and threats effectively; 3) implementing includes: students: student learning is conducted through online, curriculum: modified curriculum, educators: creative in providing learning to students, facilities and infrastructure: facilities to support the health protocols, finance: budget efficiency, 4) evaluation: continue to conduct evaluations both in human resources and online to maintain the quality of education.
