ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of teacher pedagogical quality on student character development in the society 5.0 era. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research design with a post-test only control group. Respondents in this study were 140 elementary school students in the XI Cluster, Buleleng District, who were determined using random sampling techniques. The data was collected using an instrument in the form of a rubric. Data analysis was performed by using difference test (t-test). Based on the results of the analysis, it was obtained that the value of t = –1.828 with p <0.05. This proves that there is an influence of the quality of the teacher's pedagogical on the character development of students in Society 5.0 Era. The results of this study have implications for the development of student character to face a smart society.
