ABSTRACT
Venture capital is a form of private equity and a type of financing that investors provide to earlier-stage companies that are believed to have long-term growth potential. Lack of technology itself is not the main problem as many healthcare tasks have already been digitally enhanced in the last 5 years. The old era of healthcare and associated investments was focused on hardware equipment and medical consumables in hospitals. The most successful investments theses were hospital infrastructure and Capex heavy machineries. Back in 2008, researchers at Institutes for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) described the Triple Aim as simultaneously “improving the individual of care; improving the health of population; and reducing the per capita costs of care for population.” The most extreme example of a wearable device has always been Elon Musks Neuralink The company is now planning to implant medical wearable trackers directly into our brain.
