ABSTRACT

Analytical deformation formula for moving load passing through the track transition with irregularities and rigidity abrupt change has been derived by establishing the vibration differential equation of the track. The influences of the track irregularities, the track rigidity abrupt change and the train speeds on track vibration are investigated and the dynamic responses of the track under a single wheel set and a TGV high speed train passing through the track with different track irregularity amplitudes and the rigidity ratios are analyzed by using this formula and the superposition principle. The computations show that the track irregularities, the rigidity abrupt change and the train speeds have significant influences on track vibration in track transition. This influences increase with increases of the track irregularity amplitude, the rigidity ratio and the train speed.
