Medical advances are improving the lives of people living with HIV/AIDS, while prevention remains the key to stopping the spread of this devastating disease. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has created an integrated information delivery system to provide information about HIV/AIDS to the public, health professionals, and people living with HIV/AIDS. Consumers can get information by telephone, mail, and via the Internet. This article provides details about CDC’s HIV/AIDS information services and how to access them.
