ABSTRACT
The primary goal of the Houston AIDS Information Link (HAIL), a consortium of twelve community-based organizations (CBOs) representing national, state, county, city, and public and private non-profit agencies, is to bring current, scientifically accurate information to HIV-infected patients, their health care providers, and the affected community at places where these individuals are already spending time, such as clinics and libraries. HAIL (https:// www.NeoSoft.com/-hail/) represents a working example of using the Internet to create a physical and virtual network of HIV community-based organizations, bound together by a common goal.
