ABSTRACT

As part of its efforts to combat HIV/AIDS, the Federal government has developed numerous information resources and services. The National Institutes of Health, a leader in biomedical research, has taken a leadership role in the provision of important information services as well. Use of the Internet has facilitated information dissemination and enabled researchers, health care providers, patients, and the general public to have access to the most up-to-date information.
