ABSTRACT
An engineers oriented tool - IMITA has been developed for the simulation of mechanical vibrational systems. It permits to determine both the transient and the stationary behavior parameters of systems consisting of rigid bodies connected by means of non-inertial elastic and damping links with arbitrary non-linear characteristics subjected to deterministic or stochastic excitations.
