ABSTRACT

A new method has been developed for the numerical analysis of nonlinear systems. It is based on the linearization of the nonlinear system, and on the modification of original excitation by correction terms compensating the influence of nonlinearities not included in the linearized model. The paper describes an application of the method to the solution of a three–axle bogie motion in horizontal plane, when travelling along a straight track with randomly varying deviations and a rail gauge.
