ABSTRACT
During construction of Menjer Concrete Gravity Dam for harnessing hydro-potential resource of Lake Menjer as well as Serayu River, there were some problems caused by poor rock condition and pervious layer beneath the dam foundation. Remedial measures to control the seepage water and uplift pressure to ensure the dam stability are very important. This paper describes counter measures already done to ensure the dam stability during construction of this dam.
