ABSTRACT
The construction of earth dams in order to create the ponds which are necessary for irrigation is included into the program of the development of economy of Niger. In the first place it is supposed to build Kandagy dam. Modem earth constructions become more effective when they are reinforced by geotextiles. We have worked out the methods of analysis of stability of the hydraulic engineering embankments reinforced with the help of a set of flexible and rigid elements on the grounds of computer modelling.
