ABSTRACT

The paper presents the experimental results of constant amplitude cyclic tests carried out on 10 specimens of welded beam-to-column connections, in order to characterize their low-cycle fatigue behaviour. In 5 of the 10 specimens, a concrete slab 100 mm thick is present, cast in a corrugated sheet, in order to compare the different behaviors of the steel frame alone as well as the one of the real structure, in the presence of the deck.
