ABSTRACT
The paper studies the behaviour of two MRFs subjected to velocity pulse ground motions. The main parameter examined in the numerical tests is the pulse period. Because the second and the third vibration mode strongly interacts with the first one, same irregularities in comparison with the code provisions occur in the bending moment and shear force diagram, displacement shape and distribution loads.
