ABSTRACT

This paper presents the development of a model for cyclic behavior of T-stub connections. Beginning with experimental data generated from 48 T-stub component tests, a comprehensive monotonic model was developed. In this paper, the monotonic model is briefly described and its extension to the cyclic case is discussed. Comparisons with test data indicate that the model captures well most of the cyclic behavior features, with the exception of the varying location of the contact area between the T-stub flange and the column flange.
