ABSTRACT
This chapter concludes the book by drawing together the main strands of the subjects dealt with earlier. The chapter is based on the final report of the EOPOLE project and addresses five main themes: the user in Earth observation data policy; pricing policy for Earth observation data; new technologies and their impact on data policy; Earth observation data archiving policies; and the formal, mainly legal, context of Earth observation data policy.
