ABSTRACT

This paper presents data from a laboratory-testing program envisaged to study the influence of soil specimen height and saturation techniques on testing duration and soil–water retention curve response from a testing data quality perspective. The study is directed to one Brazilian soil deposit. Data support that: (i) The soil specimen height does not affect laboratory-testing duration and soil–water retention curve response; and (ii) The saturation technique used affects substantially the soil–water retention curve response.
