ABSTRACT
This report corresponds to the evaluation result of the 16 papers submitted to the session which involves swelling, collapsible and compacted soils. The papers are evaluated within three topics: fundamentals, collapse behavior of compacted and collapsible soils, and swelling soil behavior. For each topic a general framework is first defined allowing for interpretation of the experimental results presented to the session.
