ABSTRACT

Several isolates of Trichoderma spp., used as biocontrol agents, alone or in combination with benzimidazole and dicarboximide fungicides, showed a good activity against gray mould of grape incited by Botrytis cinerea Pers.

During field experiments, carried out throughout the years 1978–1984, the alternation of one chemical spray with 2–3 treatments with the antagonists gave satisfactory results.

The importance of the selection of strains of Trichoderma resistant to the most common fungicides used against the most important grape pathogens is discussed.
