ABSTRACT

We relate the reasons and presuppositions for a new and more reasoned weeds control in vine in order to reach economic and agronomic advantages.

Eight years of trials show how the “Soil conservation technique” known as “No Tillage” allows to avoid the weeds’ competition and, at the same time, brings remarkable advantages such as: savings, in terms of production costs and working hours, and drought/erosion resistance plus a better soil-bearing.
