ABSTRACT
During the Spring of 1983 the Department of Agriculture requested beekeepers to submit one sample of hive debris per apiary for screening for Varroa jacobsoni. Ninety three samples were received and examined by the Bee Disease Diagnostic Service of the extension service ACOT. Varroa jacobsoni was not found in any of the samples.
