ABSTRACT

The term data science is mainly linked to the real applications of data along with analytics. As the mappings of relevant facts are necessary to implement the rules in the applications, it is essential to focus on the mechanisms of types of data to explore the rules. In fact, the large scale of heterogeneous data cannot be processed implementing traditional mechanisms. In such a scenario, evolutionary or heuristic or meta-heuristic techniques can be adopted while realizing the importance of data. In this work, particularly, analytics is termed as a process of data transformation to achieve near-optimal results and to approach an informed decision. As the integration of data in all application domains can be done methodologically, it is again essential to concentrate on the sources of data. So focusing on these issues, the firefly concept, which is a meta-heuristic approach, is being proposed to validate the informational factors associated with the data in a virtual environment.
