ABSTRACT
Along with the advancements in science and technology current educational trends are changing. The present trend in schools not only focuses on science, literature and sports but also gives equal emphasis to the teaching–learning process along with vocational courses. Parents also prefer such kinds of smart classrooms in schools including more facilities and interactive teaching methods. This research paper focuses on trends in semi-urban areas, acceptance and expectation of smart schooling using data-mining methods. Cluster analysis was found to be the most suitable method to analyze the current trend of smart teaching in semi-urban areas of India. Here we implemented the C4.5 algorithm which comes under the decision tree analysis technique of data mining.
