ABSTRACT

In view of the emotional intention of Chinese consumers, how to design a yacht with Chinese style is the current problem encountered in yacht design. The key technology is how to configure the personalized component module so that its modeling image can truly meet the emotional requirements of consumers. From the perspective of cultural design, Firstly, this paper establish a transformation relationship model from cultural elements to design elements, and build Chinese cultural symbol library to guide the direction of cultural design. Secondly, the classic brand yacht design cases are selected and analyze the aesthetic characteristics. The personalized genes and inheritance genes are refined. Shape grammar and Bezier curve are used to derive the personalized design genes to generate the yacht personalized design components. Thirdly, using the ant colony optimization thought as the guiding ideology of personalized design component configuration, eye tracking is used to select the personalized component that meets the consumer’s preference from the personalized component module library for plan configuration. Finally, from the perspective of physiology and psychology, the validity of this method was verified by eye movement experiment and scale experiment.
