ABSTRACT

Color scheme is an important factor in cruise interior design. By considering materials, mechanisms and styles, a variety of cruise interior environmental design works are presented for a visual and aesthetic impression. Various color models, based on specific requirements and configuration of colors, have been developed to follow the line with the artistic theory and principle of creation to achieve practicality and aesthetics. Although success has been made, its performance still suffers from complicated ocean lighting conditions on cruise interior color scheme task. In this paper, we suggest a cruise interior color analysis system to learn the connectivities of global color scheme interaction graph based on artistic styles, consumer characteristics and typical functional spaces under complicated ocean lighting conditions, in which an Interactive-Scan-Flood Fill algorithm is proposed to scan the whole image for potential seeds by human-machine interactive faceted search and exploration. The result shows that our color suggestion provides designers with the prior knowledge so as to point out their shortcomings for cruise creative arts and design.
