ABSTRACT

The association between colors and different human emotions is a growing area of study regarding mental health. Color is a strong communication tool and can signal action, affect mood, and even influence physiological reactions in different aspects. On the other hand, machine learning is an emerging paradigm for wider applications. This chapter analyzes different machine learning-based models used in color psychology analysis and color perception in different areas. Benefits and drawbacks of the existing models are identified from where the lacks found in state-of-the-art literature have motivated us to improve performance. Finally, a probable future direction is presented as the concluding statement for further research in this domain.
