ABSTRACT

Learning English vocabulary in high school is difficult due to less of fun, creative and interesting. One of the reasons is the lack of creativity from the teacher to make problem resolution. Coupled with the current pandemic era, teachers are also required to be able to develop teaching materials minimizing face-to-face with students. Therefore, the learning development is urgent, especially to explore the creativity of teachers and foster students’ interest in English lessons. This research is descriptive qualitative. It is described the process of media-making, the analysis of the students’ evaluation, and motivation. The purpose of this research is to find how teachers making media, explaining its advantages, and how the teacher creatively evaluates the students. This research is also expected to foster students’ interest in learning new vocabulary and developing contextual communicative-based teaching media.
