A mid-sized icy satellite of Saturn, discovered by Giovanni Cassini in 1684. Its diameter is 1120 km, and it orbits at a distance of 377 000 km. Its density of 1490 kg m−3, the highest of Saturn's mid-sized satellites, indicates a composition of rock and ice
