ABSTRACT
A peculiar galaxy in the constellation of Sculptor that derives its name from its wheel-like appearance. The Cartwheel has a ring-shaped `rim', 150 000 light-years in diameter, that contains billions of recently formed stars and which is dominated by massive clusters of bright blue stars and HII regions
