ABSTRACT
The diversity in composition, dimensions, and functionality make colloids indispensable building blocks of most present-day materials. Consequentially, colloids transcend virtually all facets of our daily lives, from the milk in our breakfast cereal and tooth paste we brush our teeth with, to the paints on our home and office walls and the protective polymer coatings on our cars, windows, and mobile phones.
