ABSTRACT
Biomedical imaging technology has considerably enhanced patient treatment with greater precision in illness identification and surgical operations. Image-assisted therapy has abated the significant risk due to human mistakes. This chapter presents a review of previous imaging technologies and contemporary imaging techniques, as well as their potential to solve medical concerns. Various imaging healthcare techniques are discussed in this chapter. The main part of the chapter portrays the essential standards and components of a few imaging modalities now being used. It is believed that the chapter will be useful to newcomers to medical science and physicians as well.
