ABSTRACT

The Internet of Things (IoT) seems to have a big impact on the healthcare industry. The goal of this research is to find hidden trends in the research literature about IoT uses in the healthcare area. Robots are everywhere, from the scientific literature to the limited hospital, where they are shifting healthcare. Artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming more sophisticated to do what humans do, but more proficiently, speedily, and at a lesser cost. The potential role of AI and robotics in healthcare is enormous. In everyday life, AI and robotics are increasingly a neighborhood in our healthcare environment. AI results in increasing the capability of healthcare specialists to recognize better the daily patterns and requirements of the individuals they care for. With that knowledge, they can develop better feedback, supervision, and support to stay healthy. After combining AI and IoT in healthcare, they are likely to improve operational efficiency in this field. Collection, analysis, control, optimization, and robotics: these are the various steps that involve the intelligent and efficient application of AI algorithms in IoT devices. Robotics technologies seem to be available at many places in healthcare now. Few countries have already adopted robotics as the best solution to healthcare problems. Even in the Corona pandemic, they used robotics to sanitize the patient places, reducing hazards for patients. Robots also formulate and distribute medications in pharmacological labs. IoT has already proved its advancements in each aspect of life, and undoubtfully it is redefining the scope of the medical devices and services to the patients with proper care. Many researchers have focused on robotics with IoT and healthcare, but due to the lack of adequate evidence, these researches are out of reach from reality. This chapter focuses on the major impact of robotics, AI, and IoT on healthcare improvement. We’ll look at the role of the IoT in health systems in greater depth in this article, as well as the fundamental factors that make it a reality and the potential and difficulties the IoT provides for healthcare medical practice. The advancement of robotics technologies with the key features of IoT in the medical field can make the patients’ lives easier and more contented.
