Optimization of public transport schedule on duplicating stretches

This chapter presents the optimization problem of public transport schedules to improve passenger service quality. The technique of alignment of time intervals between consecutive vehicles of different routes on duplicating stretches is suggested. The described technique was tested in an existing transport network of Gomel.
