ABSTRACT
Main gas pipelines during operation may be partially uncovered as a result of soil erosion, and also the property may lose stability due to various factors (pressure, temperature, soil saturation, etc.) and rise upward, changing its position relative to the design. This chapter describes a simulation of the stress-strain state of the pipeline during its lowering to the design mark under the influence of its own weight when using a pipelayer.
