ABSTRACT

Detection of heavy metal pollutants in water has become a hot topic in the field of environmental protection. Rapid water detector is regarded as a unique measure to present the first-hand data for the detection and early warning. Available water detector has to use mercury film sensor as detection electrode, and subjects to low accuracy and secondary pollution. This work intends to use the BDD (Boron-doped diamond) film sensor, which is green and efficient, to replace the traditional mercury film sensors to explore the application of a new type of water quality detector in industry. An on-line quality detection system is constructed, and the detector system is connected with a data platform through network. The detected results are converted into digital signals, and are displayed on a mobile application software. With merits of fast detection and stable performance, it is rational to suppose that the designed system may provide data support and application reference for developing advanced devices for water heavy metal detection.
