ABSTRACT
In the study of rock microstructure, it is an important basic work to make good use of materials to make thin sections. Due to the different materials and different technologies, the transparency and reflectivity of the thin slices made of colloidal materials are different. With the increase of the use degree of the materials, the transparency of the chemical components and stable components in the materials will gradually decrease, until the soft minerals in the thin sections are opaque. Therefore, different materials and processes were used to grind thin slices for identification and analysis.
