ABSTRACT

Dermoscopy, optical coherence tomography, reflectance confocal microscopy, high frequency skin ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance image, and PET-CT/positron emission tomography are image tools employed in the diagnosis, choice of treatment, and monitoring of non-melanoma skin neoplasms. In this chapter we describe these image techniques, advantages, disadvantages, and indications, emphasizing its role in radiation oncology treatments.
